1. Overview [편집]
This article describes World 7, the first level of Set 2 among the official levels in A Dance of Fire and Ice.
2. Features [편집]
The square pattern, which briefly appeared for the first time in World 6, appears frequently throughout this level.
Unlike previous official levels, the appearance rate of swirls increases significantly. This also serves as a wordplay reference to the title of the main level’s track, Spin 2 Win.
As seen in Worlds 4 and 5, long tiles are used; however, since they are restricted to vertical and horizontal movement and the rhythm is relatively simple, they do not feel particularly lengthy. Like Worlds 5 and 6, Spin 2 Win also contains a section where the song’s base rhythm changes mid-level.
Although there are no notable visual effects, cat characters appear frequently throughout the level. If all levels in World 7 are cleared with Perfects, the message displayed changes from the usual “Pure Purfect” to “Pure Purrfect”. “Purr” (the sound a cat makes) replaces the “per” in “perfect.”
Additionally, with the release of this official world, 30-degree-based angles were added to the level editor for the first time, making it easier to create triplet and swing-like patterns within the editor.

3. Tutorials [편집]
3.1. 7-1 Swirly Serpentines [편집]
7-1 Swirly Serpentines
BPM | 140 | ||||
Tile Count | 19 | ||||
Pattern Introduced | 바깥쪽으로 회전하는 구불구불
In the winding path first introduced in World 3, a swirl has been added to the third tile upon entry in the first set, and to the first and third tiles in the remaining sets.
In other words, all turns here must be input as outward beats.
The rhythm can be expressed as follows:

BPM | 140 | ||||
Tile Count | 26 | ||||
Pattern Introduced | 바깥쪽 구불구불과 안쪽 구불구불의 복합
This tutorial features a repeating structure in which an inward turn immediately follows the outward turn section from the previous tutorial.
From this point onward, the ability to distinguish between outward and inward turns becomes necessary.
The rhythm can be expressed as follows:
■□□■|□□■□|□■□□|■□■■

3.3. 7-3 Inside Squares, Outside Squares [편집]
7-3 Inside Squares, Outside Squares
BPM | 150 | ||||
Tile Count | 32 | ||||
Pattern Introduced | 안쪽으로 도는 사각형과 바깥으로 도는 사각형
This tutorial teaches the rhythm variations based on the rotational direction of square patterns.
The outward square shares the same rhythm as in the first tutorial, while the inward square matches the square pattern introduced in the early section of the World 6 main level.
In other words, the outward square consists of 6 beats in total, whereas the inward square consists of 2 beats.
The rhythms can be expressed as follows:
Outward Square

BPM | 160 | ||||
Tile Count | 34 | ||||
Pattern Introduced | 엇박에서의 사각형
This pattern appears during the inward square section from the previous tutorial when played on offbeats.

Tile Count | 26 | ||||
Pattern Introduced | 정박과 엇박 중간의 사각형
In this tutorial, the path progresses in a structure where on-beats and offbeats alternate following the inward square section.
The rhythm can be expressed as follows:
■□■□|■■■■|■■□■|□■□■|■■■■|■□■□

The main level of World 7.
As the main level that marks the beginning of Official Level Set 2, it is generally considered to be of moderate difficulty. Although the BPM may not feel particularly fast to players who have cleared all official worlds in Set 1, the significantly increased frequency of swirls causes the planet’s rotation direction to change frequently, which may be confusing to players unfamiliar with them. Square patterns, which also appear frequently alongside spins, require players to distinguish between inward and outward rotations, as each has a different rhythmic structure.
Snails and rabbits also appear in this level. Snails are used to skip one measure at 3/4 time sections by temporarily slowing the BPM by a factor of three, while rabbits restore the slowed BPM back to its original speed. These tiles appear together and occur only twice throughout the entire level.
Near the end of the level, there is an outward square pattern during an offbeat sequence, which does not appear in the tutorials. Successfully navigating this section allows the remainder of the level to be cleared by maintaining a consistent rhythm through six outward rotations. Below is the visual of the rhythm structure of the segment discribed above.
■□□■|□□■□|□■□■|□■□□|■□□■|□□■□|□■□■
The speed trial aim is 1.3x, increasing the base BPM from 160 to 208. Once the player becomes accustomed to reading spins and square patterns—the core mechanics of this world—the level can be cleared without much difficulty.

5. Trivia [편집]
* Upon the initial release of this world, the default planet colors for fire and ice were accidentally swapped, and were later corrected.
* Despite using long tiles, movement is restricted to vertical and horizontal directions. Developer fizzd stated on RDL that this occurred because the tiles were originally intended to be short tiles, but were mistakenly left as long tiles.
